Records: Baton Rouge Catholic Church Records show Enrique Edmond Plaisance as the son of Baltasar. Rev. Hebert's Southwest LA records show an Edmond Plaisance married to a Liza Abshire. Unfortunaly, there are no other records connecting these Edmonds together. Some records show that Liza was born in 1827 and their son Emile was born in 1849. If this information is correct, then Liza would have been possibly married between 1845 and 1849. This would make Edmond about 30 to 34 years of age. There are no records of Edmond Plaisance's parents and there is no record officially connecting Edmond to Baltasar Plaisance or any of the Plaisances from Ascencion Parish. Yet, there are no records of any Plaisances landing in Louisiana at any other time. Most agree Edmond Plaisance is the same Edmond, son of Baltasar Plaisance.
